Doris and Thomas Montgomery Scholarship

The Doris and Thomas Montgomery Scholarship is awarded to a full time student who attended a Humboldt County high school first and then to a California high school graduate. Recipients must be pursuing research or a major that furthers understanding of climate change mitigation and adaptation through the application of science to understand ecosystems and natural resources, or furthers understanding of the policy and social simpliations of environmental issues. The selected recipients will demonstrate an interest through their research or major in climate. Preference for those students who graduated from a Humboldt County High School. Amounts and numbers of scholarships are estimates, dependent on funding.
