The Van Duzer Scholarship was designated in memory of Albert and Mildred Van Duzer with the stipulation that these scholarships be awarded to worthy Humboldt students, giving preference to students majoring or active in the creative arts. Artistic potential in creative production and performance is the sole criterion for the award. Artistic or creative potential will not be judged as being restricted to those students who are performers, or who are producing works of art, but may also include individuals concentrating in the areas of history, criticism, theory, composition, etc. Up to $1,500 ($750 each semester) per scholarship in the Department of Art, Department of Music and the Department of Theatre, Film and Dance. Must be enrolled full-time at Humboldt at the time of application and during both semesters of the academic year and remain active in the arts at Humboldt.Applications reviewed by the Department Scholarship Selection Committees.
