Conservation Unlimited Alumni Association Scholarship

Conservation Unlimited is the oldest student club on campus. The CU Alumni Association Scholarship is awarded to a currently enrolled/continuing junior or senior student with a declared major in Wildlife at Humboldt. Newly admitted students, both freshmen and transfers, will not be considered and should not apply for this scholarship. Preference is given to students who demonstrate professional promise, are active in extracurricular activities, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Amounts and numbers of scholarships are estimates, dependent on funding.

  1. Please provide a resume demonstrating extracurricular activities and professional promise in the discipline.
  2. Please provide a letter of application introducing yourself and highlighting why you are a suitable candidate for a scholarship.
  3. Please provide the names and email addresses of up to two individuals not from HSU Wildlife faculty who will provide letters of reference. For HSU faculty and staff references, please use the official Humboldt email address for your reference found here. Make sure to contact this person and let them know which scholarship you are applying for before making this request.
